Loved by millions across the world for its superb 4WD performance and distinctive functional form, the Land Rover Defender had a long production run from 1948 until 2016. This R/C model assembly kit recreates the short wheelbase Defender 90 variant from 1990, with the unmistakable form captured by a polycarbonate body featuring front and rear light cases which are compatible with separately sold LEDs. Separate molded parts are included to depict features such as the outer roll cage, front grille and spare tire cover. The CC-02 chassis is a great base, providing a sure-footed drive whether on-road or off.
CC-02 Chassis - Off Road, Evolved
Designed for a wide range of off-road scenes including rocky terrain, the CC-02 chassis' ladder frame is inspired by full-size vehicles and is the base for its superior durability. A 4WD setup employs the motor longitudinally behind the front axle with separated gearbox and transfer case, and propeller shafts transmitting power to the differential gears front and rear. Four-link rigid suspension is employed front and rear, with CVA oil dampers for all-encompassing control, even on tricky rock sections. This model comes with black six-spoke wheels and grippy block pattern tires. In this kit, the chassis is assembled with a 242mm wheelbase.
